Delivery & Shipping


At Hardwood Ventures, we do our best to make sure that you get your purchases as soon as possible, so if you order before 3pm (GMT) we will send your order out the same day.

All of our shipping costs are worked out by the weight of your order, and priced accordingly to suit your delivery method, and location in the world. 

Times for delivery are as follows:


We offer 3 options for UK delivery:

  • UK First Class - this is Royal Mail 24 standard delivery, and is usually delivered next day, although please allow longer during busy periods.
  • Next Day Courier - this is a DPD Local courier service, with guaranteed next day delivery if you order before 3pm. This service is fully tracked, and if you leave your phone number you can receive text message updates that provide a one hour window for delivery, so you don't have to wait around all day for your parcel. NOTE: THIS IS A MONDAY - FRIDAY SERVICE, so orders placed by this service on Friday, will be delivered on Monday.
  • Free Shipping - Orders over £50 receive free next day shipping. You order will be shipped with DPD Local, so that you can get all of the benefits mentioned above.


For France, Germany, Italy and Spain we are able to offer a 2 - 4 day, full tracked courier service via DPD Local, for just £9.99.

We also offer both tracked and non-tracked options with the Royal Mail to these destinations. These options take a bit longer to arrive and prices are calculated by the weight of your order. 

For everywhere else in Europe, delivery is via Royal Mail and normally takes around 5-10 working days, depending on your proximity to the UK, and the speed of the delivery service in your local area. You can choose a standard, non-tracked service or go for a fully tracked service at the checkout.


When delivering items worldwide, your order should normally arrive within 5-12 working days, depending on your proximity to the UK, and chosen delivery method. You can choose between a standard non-tracked delivery option, or go for a fully tracked option. 

PLEASE NOTE: These delivery times are approximate, and may vary, especially at busier times of the year, like Christmas. Please also take Bank Holidays into account. If you have any questions about our delivery policy, please don't hesitate to contact us. 

Payment Methods Accepted


We accept Visa, Visa Election and Mastercard, which are processed via SagePay. If you have any problems making payment, please get in touch and we'll do our best to help.


We accept payments via Paypal if you have a Paypal account. You can also pay via credit or debit card through Paypal, without needing a Paypal account to do so.

Returns & Refunds

We accept refunds and exchanges.


Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging, with all swing tags and labels undamaged.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Goods that have been worn or used in any way, or goods where the stickers or tags have been removed cannot be returned. (NO EXCEPTIONS)

Additional non-returnable items: Gift cards

To complete your return, please email us at, to confirm that a return is possible.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.


Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 5 working days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over £75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.

We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
