Hyperdunk X

At the Beijing Olympics, in 2008, Nike showcased the first ever Hyperdunk basketball shoe. Kobe Bryant wore the Hyperdunk as Team US powered through the tournament to win gold.

Since then, the Hyperdunk has been a steady basketball staple, adding to Nike's basketball narrative and bringing innovative silhouettes and technologies to the court.

As reported by the likes of SneakerNews (image above via SN) and HypeBeast, Nike have now unveiled a first look at the Hyperdunk X (10) basketball shoe, which is due to start arriving at retailers this Summer.

The Nike Hyperdunk X pulls influence in both look and construction from previous models, as well as bringing some new features to the line. The shoe will feature Zoom Air cushioning in the heel and forefoot, with a lightweight mesh upper, inner bootie and a high peak at the ankle for protection.

A new addition to the Hyperdunk 10 is a wider lacing structure that provides additional lock-down with Flywire.

The Hyperdunk X will start releasing in 10 team-based colours this Summer.
