Brook Lopez Replaces Rajon Rondo For All-Star Game January 31, 2013 13:43

Since it was announced that Rajon Rondo, of the Boston Celtics, was going to be out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL, people have been debating who will be Rondo's replacement for the Eastern Conference All-Stars.

The decision over who will be a replacement is made by NBA Commissioner David Stern, as is customary if any of the original All-Star selections cannot play on the day.

Well, the NBA have announced on Twitter that Stern has selected Brook Lopez, of the Brooklyn Nets, to be Rondo's replacement.

All of us who were trying to guess which guard would take Rondo's place were way off!
