Haslam Sets Rebounding Record for the Miami Heat November 22, 2012 12:39

Last night, as the Miami Heat took on the Milwaukee Bucks, Udonis Haslam set a new record as the leading rebounder in the history of the of the Miami Heat.

Haslam's second rebound of the game, took him to 4,808 rebounds for his career, which is 1 more than Alonza Mourning grabbed while he was with the Heat.

Haslam has been in the NBA for 10 years now, and has been with the Heat for that entire time. As well as setting the Heat's rebounding record, he is also the first non-drafted player to ever have a rebounding record with any NBA franchise.

The Heat had prepared an in-game video to celebrate Haslam's new record. He was also playing in his 606th career game with the Heat, making that a franchise record as well, with Haslam being just one game ahead of Dwayne Wade.
