I genuinely wish that I didn't live in the North East of England when I see some of the awesome basketball t-shirts that K1X bring out.
I guess since I'm North East born and bred, I should be hard as nails and walk down the street in just a t-shirt, regardless of whether it's raining, snowing or there's gail force winds. Unfortunately, I'm not that tough. I need some rays to get me out there, showing off the latest short sleeved swag from K1X. Time for a move to a warmer climate?
First up, we've got the K1X Career Points T-Shirt, which pays homage to the all-time leading NBA scorer, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar. He managed to rack up 38,387 points while playing for the Milwaukee Bucks and Los Angeles Lakers between 1969 and 1989. Legend. No one could stop the sky hook.
K1X have dug right to the heart of basketball, art and culture and produced this photo-tee of Kareem back in the 1960's, when he was still known as Ferdinand Lewis Alcindor. The photograph was taken in 1963 on the black tops of New York City, by famous American Photographer, Richard Avedon. If you ever want to check out an original of this image, you'll have to shoot on over to the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Next up, are you Down With OKC? We certainly are. This K1X Down With OKC t-shirt was only produced in 250 units, so they're pretty rare. What isn't rare is people who are behind the Oklahoma City Thunder, especially after their cracking season last time around.
Youngsters Durant, Westbrook, Ibaka and Harden (who has now sadly departed to the Houston Rockets) made it all the way to the NBA Play-Off Finals, where only the Miami Heat were man enough to stop them.
Everyone loves a good underdog, especially if they can throw it down like OKC. Grab yourself a bit of that, before it's gone forever!
It kills you when you make one yourself, and cracks you up when a teammate, or opponent throws one up, but either way, the Air ball is a basketball institution that is here to stay.
The K1X I'm With Airball t-shirt should do just enough to wind up your teammates, or help you to embarrass your opponents. Or you can just head out and photo bomb people for a laugh. Does the timeless "I'm With…." joke ever get old? We don't think so. Enjoy!
