Dwayne Wade Concerned Over Lack of Heat Height October 24, 2012 13:07
Miami Heat are undoubtedly one of the top contenders for this years NBA Championship. We can easily say that without even seeing them play because of their line-up, and the sheer dominance of the big-three.
That being said, the big-three aren't really BIG, and Dwayne Wade has made his concerns about this known when speaking to Fox Sports. While the team is clearly heaped with talent, they do lack a traditional big man, and that lack of size in the roster could cause them problems against some teams.
Wade was quoted as saying; "Yeah, we have weaknesses. We’re not the biggest team in the league. It’s a glaring weakness."
There's been a lot of talk about Dwight Howard and the LA Lakers, but the Heat won't have to worry too much about them until later in the season. The teams that they might have to look out for in the East are the Brooklyn Nets, with Brook Lopez and the Philadelphia 76ers with Andrew Bynum.
Despite Wade's concern, the Heat have still got one of the fastest offences in the league, and LeBron James is considered one of the best ever to play the game, so I'm sure that there won't be too much worry in the Heat locker room when the season gets underway next week.
