Grant Hill Signs 2-Year Deal With the LA Clippers July 22, 2012 20:00

The Los Angeles Clippers have signed NBA veteran, Grant HIll from the Phoenix Suns, in a 2-year deal for the 7-time All-Star. Hill leaves the Suns behind after his teamate, Steve Nash headed to the LA Lakers looking to win an NBA championship.

LA Clippers coach, Vinny Del Negro, knows Hill very well from his coaching days in Phoenix, so Del Negro knew exactly who he was getting when he recruited Hill. The Clippers' roster now looks impressive on paper, after adding Grant Hill to their ranks.

They now have Chris Paul playing point guard, Blake Griffin at power forward, DeAndre Jordan at center, Jamal Crawford at shooting guard and Caron Butler at small forward.

They have also managed to re-sign reserve point guard Chauncey Billups for next season. Last season for the Suns, Hill averaged 10.2 points, 3.5 rebounds and 2.2 assists in 28.1 minutes per game.
