Lakers Sign Bynum For 2012-13 Season June 06, 2012 15:42

The Los Angeles Lakers announced last week, that they have re-signed their All-Star center, Andrew Bynum, for the 2012-13 NBA season.

 The Lakers' playoff run came to an abrupt end this year, when they were beaten in the second round by the Oklahoma City Thunder. The Los Angeles Times have reported that the 7'0'' center will earn $16.1 million next season, for re-signing with the Lakers.

This season, Bynum averaged a career high 18.7 points (on .558 shooting) and 11.8 rebounds, to go with 1.9 bloacks. In a game against San Antonio on 11th April, Bynum grabbed a career and NBA season's best 30 rebounds.
