Robert Parish Sells His 1981 Celtics NBA Championship Ring June 04, 2012 17:28

 Former Boston Celtics great, Robert Parish, last week sold his 1981 championship ring at an auction in the USA for $45,478.

Chief, as he was more commonly know in the NBA, won his first NBA championship in 1981 with the Celtics, before going on to win two more with the team in 1984 and 1986. He also won one title with the Chicago Bulls in 1997.

The 7'1'' center, Parish, holds the NBA record for most games played, with 1,611 over 21 seasons. He finished his career with stat averages of 14.5 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.4 blocks.
