LeBron James of the Miami Heat, has been named NBA MVP for the 2011-12 season. This is now the third time he has won the award in the last four years.
The MVP award for this season has produced a great deal of heated debate, with the likes of Kevin Durant, Kobe Bryant, Tony Parker and Chris Paul in close pursuit, but in the end LeBron won with landslide of points.
LeBron has been having an immense season, averaging 27.1 points, 7.9 rebounds and 6.2 assists, with a career high 0.531 shooting. Only Michael Jordan has had numbers exceeding LeBrons, back in the late 1980's. That's how good a season this has been for the Miami Heat leader
