A new play has just opened on Broadway called Magic Bird, it's based on the careers and rivalry between NBA Legends, Earvin "Magic" Johnson and Larry Bird.
The play starts with their college careers and finishing with their Olympic Dream Team success, and documents their unlikely friendship along the way. The show is likely to appeal to Broadway fans and die-hard NBA fans.According to the producers: "At the heart of one of the fiercest rivalries in sports, two of the greatest athletes of all-time battled for multiple championships and the future of their sport.
