Kentucky Beats Kansas to Win NCAA National Title April 04, 2012 22:00
On Monday, the Kentucky Wildcats beat the Kansas Jayhawks 67-59 to win the NCAA National Title, for the team's eighth title.
Anthony Davis hustled for the Wildcats with his all-round game, finishing with only 6 points but contributing massively with 16 rebounds, 6 blocks, 5 assists and 3 steals, for the freshman forward.
Doran Lamb led the NCAA winners with a team high 22 points on 7 of 12 shooting.
The Jayhawks' Thomas Robinson led his team with a very respectable 18 points and 17 rebounds, but was outplayed by Davis for most of the game.
Kentucky's coach, John Calipari, finally won his first championship title, having had four trips to the final four, with three different colleges.
