Tommy Freeman Named as BBL Player of the Month March 02, 2012 16:07

The British Basketball League have named Tommy Freeman of the Worcester Wolves, as February's Molten BBL Player of the Month.

Freeman, a rookie forward, coming out of Ohio University, led the league in scoring during February, with an average of 28.25 points per game.

He also averaged 4 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game, while leading the Wolves to three wins and only one defeat in February.

The Wolves' sole loss in February came against the league leading Newcastle Eagles. The final score on that occasion was 100-102.

 It's worth mentioning that Freeman was perfect from the line for the month also, netting everyone of his 40 free-throws.
