Gordon turns down Hornets offer January 26, 2012 17:19
The Associated Press are reporting that New Orleans guard, Eric Gordon, has turned down a four year contract extension to stay with the Hornets.
Gordon, 23, averaged 22.3 points last season with the LA Clippers, before he was traded in the Chris Paul trade earlier in the season.
Gordon has suffered from a bruised right knee almost all season, only appearing in two games. The Hornets coaching staff believe that he'll return in roughly three weeks from now.
The former seventh pick of the 2008 draft will now become a restricted free agent after this season.
