The Chicago Bulls Finally Buy A Shooting Guard December 16, 2011 18:23
The Chicago Bulls have finally signed a shooting guard, it was announced on Wednesday. Richard Hamilton, who is making a move from The Detroit Pistons, to the Bulls, has signed a two year contract.
Hamilton is a 6-foot-7-inch shooting guard who, in 12 seasons in the NBA, has averaged 17.7 points per game, while shooting 45 percent from the field.
The signing of a shooting guard for the Bulls is likely to take some of the pressure off the 2011 MVP, Derrick Rose. Last season, Rose took it upon himself to do everything that was needed in the back court offensively, with few players on the team that could really help him out.
33-year old Hamilton is said to have been a deciding factor in the Pistons winning the NBA in 2004. He has been an All-Star 3 times and is an all round great player, so this should be an exciting season for the Bulls.
