NBA Plans 2011-2012 Game Schedule...Finally! November 28, 2011 19:42
Even though the 2011-12 NBA season hasn't been officially confirmed yet, the NBA is already planning its schedule of games with teams likely to play at least one set of three games back to back.
The NBA are planning for a 66 game regular season to begin on Christmas day, providing all legal conditions have been met on the new labor deal before then.
They also want the regular season to run up until April 26, which is 10 days later than usual. The NBA Playoffs would then finish no later than June 26, which is two weeks later than last season.
The NBA schedulers have also said that teams would play 48 games within their conference and 18 non-conference games, with no team playing more than three straight nights, more than three times.
